What you can learn from running to have an optimal workload

Over the Easter weekend I was lucky enough to be able to go out running for 4 days in a row. I did intense sessions and “rest” sessions so as not to overload myself. Despite this, I started on Monday (fourth day of training) with a slight discomfort in my calf.Entrepreneur RunnerPhoto rights by FotoliaI had planned to do 20 intervals of 200 metres at high intensity and to finish, 4 more of 500 metres. During the first 3,000 metres of warm-up I thought: “Maybe it’s better to do a relaxed session to avoid risking injury.”

The bad thing is that runners in general have a problem

We often overestimate our possibilities and very  singapore telegram data  few listen to their bodies because of a strange feeling of guilt for not having given it their all. What had to happen happened. After having already completed more than half of the 20 intervals of 200 meters,

I felt a sharp pain in my right calf that forced me to stop. Since I still had more than 6 kilometers to get home, I did what I could to get back to a jogging pace so as not to injure myself more than I already had.Entrepreneurs and runners have many things in common . One of them is wanting to give it their all at every moment. When I started in the world of start-ups, I considered fatigue to be a  who is a tester: nuances of the profession   sign of weakness that could be fought with willpower. The worst thing of all is that it is possible for a while but you pay a high price that you don’t realize at the time. Overload exists for both the runner  qatar data   and the entrepreneur.

I clearly remember the words

I read in my first book on running by a veteran German marathoner.

“The perfect workout is achieved through changes in intensity. Imagine a rubber band that is constantly being stretched and released. If you never release it, it will break. If you never stretch it, you will never get anywhere.”

When you start an online business you tend to stretch continuously until one day the rubber breaks. You need a balance to maintain mental health. This is key to not losing motivation and/or suffering burnout . Everything is possible if you maintain the enthusiasm for what you do. If you lose that, you lose everything.

A motivational post doesn’t always have to be about motivating readers, but in many cases the post is written for yourself . You are the person who most needs to read those lines at that moment. We are all human, weak, and sometimes we feel like giving up or throwing in the towel .

You need to remind yourself

That the price you are paying to live your dreams is low compared to what would be a comfortable and relaxed.  Life that sooner or later.  Would have led you to an identity crisis or a search for the meaning of life.

I am not one of those who thinks that the typical “if you want you can” always works. But sometimes people need to hear that . Motivation is an essential element that allows us to get up with enthusiasm every day. We can fall, fail, crash, call it what you want, but if we lose hope we lose everything.  By the mental capacity to overcome obstacles even if they seem insurmountable.
