Before starting this post I took a standard-sized post from Seth Godin to find out how many words he uses on average in his posts. The idea came about because I’ll be busy with this kind of stuff this weekend and I wanted to know how this man manages to say so much with so little .Empty BloggingPhoto rights by Fotolia
There are many articles that are less than 100 words long
sometimes they are 200, and few manage 400 words. How qatar telegram data is it possible to add value with so little? The key is that their texts require interpretation and reflection. It is a type of content that not everyone likes because they prefer things chewed up. They don’t want to have to use their head.
One of those “reactive SEO” attempts was to get into the top 10 with the keyword “marketing” when I discovered that I was in position number 11 without having done anything. These types of generic terms are more about prestige than anything because they don’t contribute much in terms of conversion . Who searches for marketing on Google? More students or more entrepreneurs? With the exception 10 typical fears of changing careers of student entrepreneurs, the younger public doesn’t contribute much to me because their interest in the topics I share is not usually intrinsic (there are always exceptions of course). My experience is that they “use” me qatar data as a source of information (or interview) but then they forget about the blog.
Focus on combinations that are simpler and provide higher conversion
Typically, generic keywords are much more difficult to rank for, especially if there is so much competition as there is in this niche. Having the keyword in the domain helps, but it is not everything. If I wanted to rank for “marketing” I should start by appearing in other combinations such as “online marketing” or “digital marketing”. Since “Guerrilla Marketing” is part of the name of the blog, it is difficult to convince Google that the home page can also be relevant to its top 10 with “marketing”. I would probably have to create a page within the blog that would focus on this term and synonyms. Alex usually explains this much better than I do in his Quondos videos.
Seth Godin doesn’t show you the way, nor does he give you a map, but he helps you interpret the stars so that they can guide you (how good that sounds, eh… It’s incredibly difficult not to fill that void as a blogger because as a person you have your own experience and opinion.
You are afraid of not providing details
because it might seem like you don’t have answers and everything you say doesn’t add enough value. You have to be clear that it’s not about sharing your truth. The magic happens when you get someone to see their path through your content or at least to intuit the route.
Providing value through writing can sometimes mean not filling in the space between two lines or words. Few things in life have an exact recipe or formula. What works for one person to be happy does not have to be applied in the same way to others. It is not always about giving answers but about showing the good questions.
