Using the AIDA Formula in Copywriting to Increase Sales Effectiveness

In a landing page that I created before implementing the AIDA structure, the conversion rate was only 2.3%. This number is actually not too bad considering several factors such as industry and price.

1. Attention

The copy we create must be able to immediately capture the reader’s attention.

  • Opening sentences
These are the 3 elements that you should pay most attention to.

To be able to capture their attention to these 3 elements, here are some tips:

  1. Give your buyer persona what they care about regarding your business.
  2. Present solutions to your buyer persona’s main problems.
  3. Make them feel ” oh that’s just like me “

For example, if I want to sell weight loss ar numbers supplements, the buyer persona is a career mother who has recently given birth.
