Twitter is my main source of traffic. It currently accounts for 30-40% of all blog visits. When a post or several posts get a lot of retweets, they can easily get 2,000 visits from Twitter alone. It’s not just about getting traffic spikes. The art is about generating recurring traffic.
1. You get comments on your posts: Most of the comments come from Twitter. If you ask a question or ask for other users’ opinions on a tweet, there are always some Twitter users who reply to you via the comments on the post.
